There is gold in all squares, hit the question mark at the corner in the game and it will tell you how many digs = how many bars

I agree completely. Do they know how to play the game or are they just getting gems with no cost to them??

Maybe they sit back because it costs so much to earn shovels. I’m earning way less than in the beginning because it costs me everything to win. I’ve blown through my volcano cards and have not earned a new one in at least 6 months or more. I think the game has changed for the worse.
It is just a waste. Even if you come first it is only 700 gems which buys 10 boosters. It costs 3 boosters per play x 8 plus extra coins to buy more cards to win games. I do not play now

I’m team leader and I post very clearly to get at MINIMUM of 10 shovels/dig or DO NOT qualify!! Period!! I usually spend a fortune to get 22-24 shovels and I expect them to get at least 10. With very few exceptions, they all comply and usually 3-5 won’t qualify because they are too busy or short on coins and that’s fine. That’s called following the rules.

You all think it’s aweful that we get the freeloaders when it comes to the gem com. So do I, but here’s the worst part. From what I was told even if you boot them they still get whatever the team won. Tri Tri Tri is looking for a few more good players that don’t like freeloaders, that read chat and follow directions and just love to play the game. We want to get a full team if proper players then lock the room. We don’t put extremely high goals. Plz come check us out!!! Stay if ya like us!!!

In my team’s opinion, you have to tag team with teammates to find/get gold. One person can’t dig alone and expect to find anything. Team up, pick a square, and dig every other turn until you find the gold. Sometimes it may take only 3 digs to get 1 bar, 15+ to get 8, more than that to get 12 bars. Sometimes you hit one that is 16 bars. There’s a chart in the comp that shows about how many digs it takes for a given number of bars. We go on and first ask if anyone is digging (or look at chat to see), then ask if anyone wants to dig. If no one says yes, come back later. Always post which square you just dug so someone else can dig that square next. We work on one hole at a time no matter how many people are digging.

I think you have to decide whether you want to spend lots of coins on Tributes or spend them on comps. Still if you can qualify for two or three shovels, those can help at the right time. If you never win any shovels in your Plays, you might not want to play the digging comp… it does take a lot of coins and boosters to do well in the comps, and you have to be willing to spend them. If you win your plays, though, you can earn a lot of coins even before digging the board. And of course, if your team does well, you can win gems and use them to buy back boosters.

I’d boot those players, especially if you warn them first. Then build your team back better with people who read chat and play by the rules.

Now it is not the players that should be blamed for shovels, or kicked out of the team it is the developers of the game GNC. Maybe if they would put a control on the gem games (shovels). player not participating should not receive rewards. The quest have control . I have sent notes to them so far no answer, far as calculations, or playing against higher teams they don’t care, or there is no problem.

Exactly.They are so ass backwards on some things.they put a 
for club gift but not club quest.An individual quest requires 30 tributes for a wild card which is so easy for some people.The club quest requires 790 for 490 gems and our team never gets that.I would like to have gems on individual quest.
