I left a secure easy going office job to start a career as a correctional officer in a max men’s prison. I was so scared!! Turns out I was excellent and really felt like I made a difference and helped people make positive changes in their lives. I also was lucky enough to meet a wonderful co-worker that was a reliable and trustworthy friend friend for a long time. We fell in love and are still together…almost 10 years now.
