I am completely baffled at how somebody can be in the lead of our team but have few to little tribute done but have Like 60,000 points. How is that achieved without getting tributes? I have to spend and spend and spend coins and play games and games to win my tributes and get my points and like I said it dumbfounds me as to how someone can be leading our team with so few tributes. So how is this being achieved? Does anybody know? I mean I’m not complaining because they are winning, but at the same point it bothers me because I know I play my heart out…

You have every right to complain. Playing tributes is almost double the club points to get through the perks faster. What you are explaining sounds like you are doing all of the work and people are advancing on their own levels and not contributing.
My club that I am in you must have at least 350 tributes per week or you get kicked. Maybe you can find another club?

Tribute games give you an extra 24 points for 1 tribute card and 124 extra points for 5 (completing the game). While playing tributes will increase your score faster, I don’t see why there would be a minimum requirement for a team. As long as you are meeting the team’s minimum points earned, it shouldn’t matter how you achieve those points. Everyone has a different strategy on how they play. Forcing people to obtain a certain amount tributes sounds counterproductive

I have a player that gets many more points than the rest of the team most weeks, but does them without getting many tributes.
We have asked her how she does it, but she rarely chats.
I’ve always thought she must be playing twice as many games to get those points without tributes.
Would I remove her from our club because she’s not getting tributes? No. It’s all about the points, & she is a very valuable player & point earner!

With all due respect, if your wrong. Even if you are right 124 points per person is A LOT towards your “team” getting the perks faster. It’s a “FACT”.

Sorry if I made it sound like I was complaining… I only wanted to know how it was being done… I mean it’s really an asset if you want to think of it… I mean they are getting their points… Beyond them actually, I just don’t understand how you can I guess without getting tributes… My main question has gotten lost I think… I wanted to know HOW CAN you get all those team points but yet your not getting many tributes… That’s the part that has me confused…

I think that people who get the points without tributes actually play more than those who gets tributes to earn their point.

The way I see it is that they are spending more coin to get those results if they don’t go for the tributes and it doesn’t just cost them more it costs the team in potential points.

This is completely untrue. They are actually saving coins by not spending on refreshing tributes. I can achieve 10k points while doing a 3 hour double star booster on the lowest islands (I usually finish the first 3 islands as well as both ships). I do that when I have the time to put into it.
I can get 10k points in half that time by constantly refreshing tributes but spending a ton of coins in the process (about 100k not counting the cost to play each game).
Either way, I earn 10k points. What does it matter which way I obtain them? It only matters to me, and how many coins I spend and the time I put in.

Perks are completed by team points. Each team member is required to obtain a certain amount of points per day, depending on the team.
So, say my team’s requirements are 3k points per day. I can either get those points quickly by constantly refreshing tributes for an hour, and be done and have spent 100k in the process, or I can play twice as long (either progressing levels or earning red stars) but not spend the extra 100k.
I don’t understand your point at all.
I’m the team leader of a top 100 team. I know this game inside and out. Look at the motto of the top 100 teams. NONE of them require a minimum of tributes. WE know that tributes are just a part of strategy, depending on how many coins you have and how much time you have to play.

One of things that I do is only play the tributes when I have free plays I don’t spend extra coin for extra cards when I am doing this so you rack up more coin while playing the tributes with free plays. Then you can wait like 20 minutes and refresh your tributes if you want to collect more at a lower coin price

No they are not required and you should not play for any team that has a min requirement for tributes. No one earns less club points or wins club points more slowly by NOT playing tributes. I only play them every hour when they refill. I play a lot each day. Maybe that’s why I get high club points. I’m in a top 500 team and finish each week in the top 10 of my club. I can win a ton of club points when I win a game, but there are also several boards I play over and over bc they pay out a lot of coins and club points even if I lose. Every player does what’s right for them. It takes a while to get a feel for the game. Find the boards that give big pay outs regardless if you win or lose.

Duh… you get 124 points only if you win the game! I get club points so much faster by not focusing on tributes. You only harm your team by barely playing… Period… That is a fact. Just play the game as often as you can no matter what your strategy. As long as you actually play and don’t ride on the coattails of your teammates, you will be helping the team.

Thank you EVERYONE!! You have answered my question Very well and made it clear to me that no wonder my team is not in the top 500… I think after this week I need to try to find another team once again even though they have begged me to stay… I as well have tried to help my club out for now about a month, coming from one that had soooo much drama that the one I am in I enjoyed it being so relaxed but it’s a bit too relaxed when they don’t keep to their Moto and they do have pointed and tributes as guidelines and well I do try to follow rules, but it’s when others don’t that bothers me and week after week I have made comments that we are slipping and slipping farther down the line aren’t we that don’t they need to stick to the moto on the club members and no one ever gives me real answers… So I think 
I might need to go looking… Thank you all for the great insight… I appreciate it.

After getting annoyed at someone who is aheas with zero tributes, it dawned one perhaps some ppl don’t know that they can use the map to navigate back to where they were. I totally get wanting to get to the next level. My annoyance is bc I’ll catch the volcano going up, and said person is active. P will point out out of is active. I would love if the game alerted players, sort of how they do with the gift shop. “Lava Alert.” I don’t know, I know I have more time on my hands than as I am on disability and maybe I am thinking too much…
