Hi, does anyone know how someone can take control of your club without you handing it to them? And how do I go about getting it back?
Thanks in advance
@Adrian, did you accidently leave the club and then go back in? Or, is it a coleader who is taking too many liberties?
Thatâs the only 2 ways I can think of that might have happened.
Maybe be a little more specific about what you mean, they have taken control of your club. Screen shots might help too. You can send them to me in a private message, if you donât want them posted publicly.
This can only happen if you a. Gave them the horns
Or B you were idle SO LONG that the game gives them the horns.
How long are you able to be idle? I have seen clubs with leaders idle for a very long time.
Wow, sorry this has happened, I didnât know that was possible.
I donât have any coleaders and never made her one! Iâve checked back through club notices and apparently I was ââpromotedââ to coleader! How could that happen when itâs my club and has been for several years since I set it up.
Iâve posted on the message board and asked her but sheâs not replied to me!
WOW - I would KEEP posting until she does listen. I would send MSG after MSG until she canât take it no more! Lol
The same exact thing happened to me! I had no co-leaders and all of a sudden Iâm demoted.
I emailed them and they told me that when you donât play for 14 days, you will be demoted and someone else will become leader. They also said they there is nothing they can do, but we can chat with with group and new leader and tell them whom you want to be leader.
@Bryana_Wood, that must be new! If thatâs whats going to happen, there might be a lot less inactive clubs!
This just happened to me!
Hammer them with a complaint, spam every post theyâve made on Facebook, I copied and pasted the same message over 50 times and eventually someone from support replied and said they would reopen my complaint, then a couple of days later they gave me my club back and I immediately booted the women who took over and wouldnât reply to me. Companies loose money through bad press so get busy spamming them and theyâll sort it out
Sadly my club was all the way down in rookie by this point but with some new members, weâre very slowly working back up.
This happened to me also. I was booted out of the club I created. Iâve had to start all over and itâs hard, still in rookie status.
This happened to me too!! I created the club, now some newbie has the club I created in 2016 and all because I went away for two weeks to chaperone a choir tour. One time in three years! Wow! This is pretty rotten.
Hmmmm⌠going to have to think about whether I want to stay at all nowâŚ
You are alloeed to br idle days before a new leader is assigned
Spam support on Facebook, it worked for me, someone looked at my club and gave it back. They lie when they say they canât do anything about it, I was told that over and over again until I spammed them.
I had a co-leader. She gradually took over and started a new club, taking my members with her. It was really unpleasant. Because sheâs get there first on everything, there wasnât a lot I could say and out of not wanting to seem pretty, I let it go on too long. Iâm a UK player and most of my team were USA so the time difference played itâs part too.
So sorry Charlotte, we have had players from the U.K. and Australia. The time difference is hard for them but they figure it out after a while.
Interesting! I had been looking for a new rookie club to join, specifically with âPurpleâ in the club name. There are several if them, but almost all have 25 members. When you request to join, it is full. I asked if they could remove some of the players that have been idle over a very long period if time (like over 250 days).
Per Amanda, they have no control over this. ONLY the leader or co leader can do this.
Quite often, there are no co leaders, and only 1 or 2 active players. Very frustrating.
