- When do they reset? By that I mean, clear out.
- How come sometimes if you get two red stars the middle star is left empty?
Hey jessnc, they reset every Monday at 1:00 am, CST in my neck of the woods. You can collect a star for completion, speed and streaks each game. Hope that helps!

If you don’t receive the middle star @jessnc, that means you didn’t win the game before the timer hit 0:00 for that particular level…this would be the star for “speed” as @Sharon had pointed out.

Thanks @HulaGirl & @Sharon!! thank you for clarifying the red stars for me! I really didn’t pay attention when I first started playing, and even as I’ve flipped flopped between leader boards, I never knew the “what & whys.” Good night…well it is good morning my time!

If you want that middle star, but have run out of time before the hand ends, & if it’s available, you can buy a time booster. I usually wait until I have 1 card left to play up on the table, and a card showing on the draw pile that will clear that card, then I buy the booster. That will get the middle red star, and as to your speed score.
I use my boosters and I don’t always get the X2 stars! 
@sajohnson444, just before you start the hand, make a mental note of how many red stars you already have for that hand, of any.
You can only earn each of the stars once during the week, so if it’s a hand you previously played during that week, you can only fill in the gaps of unearned stars.
In other words, if you start a hand where you had already earned the completion and streak stars, but haven’t yet earned the speed star, then when you play that hand again, your 2x booster will only count toward the speed star if you get done without 0:00 on the timer.

Does getting red stars improve your score or just help towards the red star weekly challenges?
It just helps for the leaderboard. The points count towards club points but you don’t get extra points like you do when playing the tributes.

You have to uncover the Tributes. Sometimes you get none, sometimes 1 and if you clear the board you get 5.

The double red star booster is actually on the leader board page (lower left corner). The booster is something else
@Pat_Loveslife, you’ll get points on every hand you play, even if you lose the hand. You’ll get more points for hands you win, and bonus points for hands with tributes. It’s about 25 points for every 1,000 coins you win on that hand.

Yes I know where they are and when you use them you should get double red stars when you win. It doesn’t always do that.

Yes I’ve learn you don’t always get them sometimes if one is blank in the middle you didn’t earn the speed

If the timer says 0:00 when you finish the hand, then you won’t get the middle star, of you don’t have a 15 card streak, or a combination of streaks to fill up the steak meter, you won’t get the steak star (like I didn’t in the picture above lol).

I did not know how to get red stars. They seem random to me. After reading your message yesterday, I have really paid attention. I win games in time !imit and do not get red stars. My quest was to get a number of stars. I played for an hour and did not get one. I did win within the time limits but, no stars.???
Unless you use a 2x booster you won’t get the “x2” like in the picture. If you win a red star, you cannot win it again until after it resets Sunday really really late (actually Monday morning in the wee hours). So, if you have already won the star, it will be a dull and not bright like in the picture. You might shoot a copy of a win on here so we can see what it looks like. You have to win the game to get red stars.
