New relay game feedback from a club leader

The new relay is a fun idea. However, the prizes aren’t worth it and it doesn’t give club points. Not worth the time or the coins you spend. Only plus is it gives gold stars if you win a game. If they made it worthwhile maybe I would consider doing it. A lot of my club members are saying not worth it.

I have to disagree, it’s been totally worth it to me and my friends…
Of course the only bad thing is no club points, but you can’t have it all, we have to give and take a little of each.

I don’t like that it doesn’t help our team in any way. Plus I spent a lot of coins to complete and the return wasn’t worth the effort.

Although I don’t have it most on my team do and are liking the refreshing change to break up the same-old, same-old. Also many are finished with all levels and are liking akl the gold star chests they are getting.

I find it fun. I love getting the volcano cards as a reward. It something different and I hope it stays!

It’s something different and that’s good but why make it with no RS, CP or count toward any personal quest or scavenger hunt you’re doing? Why not take the same concept and just play regular games that count for everything?

It’s like the rescue mission, just something different. We have team members that won’t play either because of the cost of coins. I personally like it for the variety of it. I think you make a good point though. Not only could they incorporate the prizes in regular play but they could make the relay and rescue missions to count towards the quests. I can see why they don’t count towards the red star count as they use levels from within the game that you might already have the red stars. They use the same levels over and over in the relay and rescue.

I like the relay, but wish it would benefit the club. I have noticed in the second week of play that the payout is not as generous. If that keeps up, I will stop playing, I have been getting a lot of undo and more cards this week. Yuck! Would rather get boosters that we no longer get on the Shrine which is useless as well since the change was implemented last Fall! Solitaire Tripeaks… are you listening to your players? Lots of frustration!

I agree with you on the shrine changes, completely changed the game…and not for the better. Having to play with no boosters or wilds most of the time has taken a lot of the fun and enjoyment out of the game.

So my thoughts on the new relay games - I started off thinking it was quite fun, I was happy to get some volcano cards and boosters, I liked getting yellow stars. I also didn’t mind not getting club points, I just looked on it as a separate set of games. But now I just get frustrated by it, the rewards don’t seem good enough for the coins and effort put in and with no way of messaging friends, I can’t let them know I’m waiting on them! A high percentage of my relays fail and I also find a lot of requests to play are denied or time out.

So I rarely play it now, I certainly don’t bother to check my friends center regularly to see if anyone has requested a relay with me. I really wish the developers would add in friends chats and alerts for requests for help and relay updates

Also, I so agree with all the comments about the shrine, what a waste of space since the updates. I used to regularly go in when I had a few coins saved up, and would get boosters and wild cards often. Now I only go in when I have a free medallion to use, as I am more likely to win 500 measly coins! The game isn’t fun anymore, I only play to help my club, and I don’t play as much as I used to

The relay game dose send you notification…IF the person has that turned on, on there device…

As it stands the relay game is best used for friends within your own club. You can ask if anyone wants to play and also notify relay partners that you are done with your portion…

Otherwise without direct messaging capabilities, your current situation is probably the norm for friends outside your own club.

I thought they were fun in the beginning and got you worthwhile stuff and gold stars. I don’t play them anymore though and haven’t been sent requests lately, so I think my teammates stopped too. I think the rewards were better that first week or too, but now, it’s just not worth it. Too bad, yet another thing, like the new Treasure Shrine and Scavenger Hunts that none of us play.

The rewards are the same. It’s the loss of the hole card that has made the relay game less rewarding than that first week or so.

I agree, was much easier to win these games when you had the hold card option!

I don’t play any more bc I get stuck on the games that call for continuous moves to win. You can play game after game after game and never win! So you’re stuck and HAVE to stop or you’d be coin-less! And no way of letting the other person know, so I’d have to leave them hanging. So I had to stop playing.

Which games are you referring to among: xxxx streak, xxxx completion, win xx face cards, play xxx cards, win x games , win xx suit cards, xxxx coins? Those i believe are all the possible relay games and nothing you mentioned seem to belong exactly in that group.

Although some on that group may require a lot of expensive games to win the relay game if you get an extraordinary number of difficult low payout games.

Agree. Not worth all the coins

I like the relay but my friends don’t want to play because of no club points.

I like the relays up to about streak 10 after that the turns take too long to complete. Especially if you have several relays going. The prizes do get bigger but not worth the time away from club points
