How to send invites

Hi,
I am sure this is something very basic I should be able to figure out for myself however …
"How do I send an invitation to someone on the forum to join the club when it is invite only? We have received a request to join and we are set to invite only and to my knowledge no one has sent an invitation to anyone. Can people request when it is invite only? Or do they have to have received an invitation?
I have asked people in posts and messages if they are interested in joining but never done anything specifically that I believe triggers an actually invite, and I usually do this when we are set to public.
We change our club to invite only the day before the Perk rewards. We are a club that has completed all of the Perks
:smile: which does attract people to join simply to reap the rewards of our hard work and then they leave directly after; presumably to the club they came from with an big stash of coins and benefits courtesy of #thepokemongo. I am sure many other clubs that achieve all of the Perks have encountered something similar. :confused:

If someone could explain how to send an invite directly to somebody when a club is set at invite only I would appreciate it. :blush:

So this request we’ve received may not have been “actually” sent by someone?
Good to know I thought that I had sent something I didn’t actually think I knew how to do lol … Nonetheless do you know how I send an actual invite or is that not a “thing”. Is simply stating come join our merry band of Perk getters invitation enough :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We used to be able to send invites through the clubhouse under the discover tab but even that hasn’t been easy. I have fb friends who play but I’ll be darn if I can find them. Yet another change that’s useless.

If you are trying to find a particular person you would need to know which club they are in, then you would search for that club using the discover tab in the clubhouse, click on the person you want to invite and invite them to join. Similar process if you are just inviting random people, find a club in the clubhouse, click on a person and invite them to join you. Best time I think to do that is just before reset as you can see their weekly points and you would know whether they would fit the requirements of your club.

:blush: That was really helpful … Now I understand the invites I receive. I wondered if it was people from the Forum but it sounds like it is people scouting out new Team Players.
