I’ve been playing the game a LOOONG time, and I’ve amassed a lot of coins along the way. I’ve also played every available level - I’m all the way up to level 435 in Jungle Jamboree (which is in Tiki Paradise, FYI). I’m part of a wonderful platinum league club, usually in the middle of the pack. I do the Club Quests and Daily Quests and hunt for idols. On the leaderboard, I’m in the Gold tier, occasionally Platinum. I play quite a bit every day, although not enough to be a Club Champ. So here’s a question I’ve been asking myself lately: how many coins are enough? Right now, I’m closing in on 15,000,000 coins. 15 million. How many wild cards are enough? (I have 115.) I seem to keep increasing both coins and wild cards, but what’s the point? If I spend 100,000 coins or 10 wild cards, I get irritated with myself, almost as though it were “real” money LOL. How many coins do YOU have? Do you ever feel satisfied with how many coins and wild cards you have? Really curious to know how others feel. TIA!
I would say for me it depends on the red star leaderboard I’m at. For a less competitive league you don’t need so many resources which means you can squirrel up and save a lot. However, generally speaking, for diamond or legend and staying in diamond or legend, you’ll need a lot to stay in those leaderboards.
I was at about 600k coins when I went for platinum and saved to about 3 million before going after diamond. If I haven’t kept pace on the diamond league during the week and want to stay there i burn as much as 100k per 100 red stars sunday nights to stay there . Recently i spent 800k to make an unsuccessful move towards legend on a sunday night. It’ll take me weeks to months to make back the streak doublers I used.
I’m in a diamond league club (I usually get between 120k and 170k points each week) and also in diamond league on the red star leaderboard and have been for months and quite easily stay there. I’m up to paradise but hate it so not planning on progressing any further. I limit myself to 100k per day but I never actually use that many coins. I’ve got just over 11mil and 135 wilds. I hate when my wilds drop below 100. I also have the same hatred of my red star boosters dropping below 100. I really dunno why?! I always feel like i could do with more coins and wilds. Again I dunno why i feel the need to keep accumulating more coins?!
I feel the same as both of you. Each time I reached another milestone in coins and wilds, and other boosters I feel like. Ok I have enough now let’s just go crazy and use the buy more coins and go nuts on boosters, but once the coins drop I get nervous. I suspect this is the same mindset my elderly relatives have to deal with, with regards to their retirement money.

I have more than 17M coin, more than 100 wild cards and 25k gems. I found it easy to increase by up to 500k per week in a Diamond league. I was mostly in a Platinum leaderboard, but now I’m in the Diamond leaderboard. I’m not afraid to spend my coin, especially when I’m time-pressed to finish a quest, but I find if it goes below the current million, I get nervous LOL. I like seeing the coin grow and am curious how high I could grow it. One of my fears is that the boosters will become harder and harder to get so sometimes I’d rather spend more coin than use my wild cards.

I hover around 500k to mil coins typically. when we get matching I get up around 3 mil or more but I dont mind spending fake money for CLUB points. After matching I also normally have over 120 wilds… but dont mind spending those. so once they’re gone I’m ok with it. i have 989 red star boosters, 1534 shark hooks, 514 traps, 383 bombs… I use everything freely. I’m an 11 time club champ in a legend league. we normally finish between 8th -15th. Before this terrible update I made around 350+ clb pts weekly now I normally get 130k to 200k clb pts. I say promote your CLUB with clb pts bc those gems are so nice. Cant take the fake money to the store!
what is ‘matching’? How many hours a day do you need to play at that level?

How do you accumulate so many coins and cards?
If wild cards are an option for event quests I always pick them, i also play skies to keep them topped up. I also use them sparingly so that I have them to fall back on.
In regards to coins, there was a time (about 6 months after i started playing) when I was down to my last 20k coins. I stopped paying for extra cards and boosters which helps a lot. I also changed my game play, I used to work my way through islands instead i have my go to islands and i just play those games repeatedly unless I’m collecting red stars. Obviously with the updates over the past year my go to islands have constantly changed and I do get a dip in coins until I find new ones. I can also earn between 100k and 150k with the 30min free play from the daily rewards.
Also I have found that certain times of the day are more lucky than others so I tend to just play during those lucky times then I’m not throwing my coins away.
I have close to 6 million but how do you accumulate so many wilds…I can never get more than about 10-15 and I use them quickly!
As well as the things I mentioned above I think it also helps if you are in a club that gets through the perks quickly, for example, if you are in a club that finishes perk 6 and perk 4 (on volcano weeks) early you are going to get 2 wilds a day, one from the perk and one from the ads. So in a non volcano week I get 13 wilds a week from perks and ads, in a volcano week I’ll get 12.

Zoe, I absolutely do NOT. I am proud to say that I have never spent a single dime on this game, with the exception of supporting causes when they offer double club gift rewards, such as breast cancer research and animal welfare/safety. Then and only then do I spend any money on the game. It does take a while to build up coins, but I found that once I got past 100,000, they seem to accumulate quickly, especially because I’m in a good club and we manage to finish all the perks in a week. Hope this helps!
Completely agree. If you are in a strong club that completes all the perks and the Club Quests, it’s easier to build up coins. My biggest advice to build coin is to NEVER buy extra cards or undo a play. With experience, you can develop strategies for play to focus on higher payoffs.
