We have actually used chat to find out about each other. We are in at least 3 different countries and most of the different time zones in the US.

We chat about everything from the game, weekend plans, trips. I personally love our chat!

We use chat to get to know each other, to encourage each other and to let our club know if we aren’t going to play for a while. We have members from US, Canada, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Italy & Germany. I try to chat in all the different languages to make those that don’t speak English feel welcome and a part of our team.
We laugh with each other, cry with each other and have created friendships.
I think Chat should be used as an encouragement rather than to ridicule a player. The only negative thing allowed in chat, if it is a negative, is to remind our players to change Perk if someone is on the incorrect Perk.

We use chat to have a catch up. Some of us have become good friends over our chats. We have conversations with great life advice, sharing family news, talk about work days, home life, kids, the game, jokes and laughs. We also talk club stuff… perk order, target goals, fb coins, club quests when we had them. The necessary evil that is Perk 6! We chat anything and everything.

We use it for both. Perk changes, catching up, alerting new players of our rules, talking about our days, etc.
