My club has one member who NEVER participates in the chat and never does tributes. My group is tired of that. She’s good at collecting club points but never does tributes. Tributes make your club score even better if she would just play them.
How many points does she do weekly?
She gets over 25000. It’s weird at how much better her score could be if she’d do the tributes.
There are people who just wont chat or don’t know chat exists. Your leaders will have to decide if their contribution is worth no communication. We have found that at some point their performance suffers and it’s an easy decision then to part ways. Note that not everyone likes only playing tributes. If I am working on a red star strategy, I do not play tributes. That’s not a problem if they meet the target and contribute to quests, including tribute quests.
There’s a quest now exclusively for collecting tributes and she never does that. We need 22 people for one right now and because of her, we won’t complete it since there are only 22 in the club right now. Our club points quests could probably finish quicker too if she’d do tributes.
In this case, I think you have no choice but to remove the player. I recommend you go to teams that are at risk of being sent to a lower level in the tournament and send some invitations. Hopefully someone will join you.
I’ve been having the same problem with some of my club members and have been looking for new members to join my club
I too share this frustration! Our 32 time Club champion! No chat, no response to any communication. He has over 1 million, 500,000 Club Points so I can’t remove him without damaging our team Tiki-Tiki . We’ve had some interesting stuff happening over the past few weeks. Both our original leader and co- leader are poof gone. One left without explanation and the other went idle for two weeks and we had to wait for admin to replace them. Communication is key for sure!
Is there a minimum number of tributes required each week? Put something in the motto about tributes maybe? If their score is high enough that cutting them would impact the team’s overall score, decide if you can justify their lack of playing tributes. Tributes contribute to keeping the volcano cool. So, they aren’t doing their fair share.
I personally am not the highest on playing tribute games, but I make a point to watch the volcano and jump in to help when needed. Could I get a higher score if I only plaid tributes? Absolutely, but I wouldn’t find the game as fun and would probably play less. I play red stars also. Yep, you have decisions to make, or not.
I will say tributes are far from the be all end all. In my opinion tributes are needed for the tribute club quest and cooling of the volcano, other than those 2 requirements, club points should be the only goal between tributes and club points.
It is NOT a fact that constantly playing tributes gets you more points. First: it’s like paying 3600 for game, so gets expensive, second: jumping from world to world slows game play and third: some games and regions offer a better overall payout (of course these are becoming increasingly rare) than random tribute games.
I’ve alternated between playing 1000 tributes week and 150 a week (even though my club has a 300 min, I also average a high standard deviation 80k pts regardless of # tributes and they might grit their teeth on those rare 150 tribute weeks but so far have not cast me out nor even commented).
So now I actually do the reverse of most people in that i play tributes but go for the win on those games using up to 2 buy mores and only use a single buy more on 80+% win situations on non tribute games. This has me at 400 to 500 per week tributes as a consequence.
I tend to follow your recommendation on following a red star strategy (from your previous post) and I found that the most enjoyable play. On Fridays, I try to play only tributes to help the team get goldie back and then switch to a red start strategy, playing tributes for quests and for the volcano when needed. I’m on a month long break now and was on the Legend leaderboard before my break.
I also think it depends what level your club is at. I tended to get 100+ in my Diamond club but now I’m in a Stone club (lol) and my play is different. In this new club, I’m encouraging people to play tributes as a way to get more CP and to cool the volcano. I had one player who said they’d like to help, but didn’t know how to play tributes. So I think tributes are a good strategy for beginner and lower level play, but not necessarily the best strategy for higher levels.
Our team knows if you don’t max on the tribute trapper you are more than likely to get booted and it has happened. We love gems and it takes 24 to max so they’d better all put in the time.
There is only thing you can do, give her the boot! Communication is important on our team no communication is grounds for dismissal.
Our club leader did that.
I like communication I’m my club as well because it is important for everyone to know what’s going on and to see if anyone needs help or ask questions. I also think it’s important to see who’s in Your club and see who you’re playing with
Maybe they don’t speak English?
That is also a possibility. On multiple occasions, I have used google translate to connect to people. I’ve become very good at speaking multiple languages thanks to google translate! At the end of the day though, if they don’t understand chat, it’s difficult for them to play with your club. It might be better for them to find a club that plays in their native language.
I always try to get real names so I can find them on FB and then I contact thru Messenger.
There are also teams that post on Facebook that will help if you have room in your club. You invite them. Then they leave and come back to collect the gems they help you win
