As I have recently noticed the use of the gold card on double stack is NOT the 1st card played.
As before this the gold card was always used 1st regardless of being able to play on the other card. That is no longer the case…love it!

I played off the face card 1st. And cleared a lot of cards with gold card still open from the start.
As you can see I played the Q 1st and it went to the king, I just recently noticed this and haven’t seen any posts on it, other players in my group have also agreed it was not like that before and we all hope it stays.
Is this working consistently for you? I just played several games to check it out and it only worked that way once for me. The rest of the time the first card went to the golden tiki even if it could have been played on the second stack. It would be a great change if it worked consistently!
Yes every time! I thought it just had to do with the double stack offered in perk 7 this week so I went to coral coastline and played it worked there too…
p.s. I also did the lasted update released 1day agi for me Apple user. Idk if that has anything to do with it.
Got the gold card and tested it on tiki Paradise.
It worked again played off the 2 card stack 1st. Here’s a pic. Marked cards I played.
