So, the “trick” is to keep no more than 20 chests unopened?

No, I think that last reply said 20 characters minimum is in regards to chat. A simple No reply is not considered long enough in the forum lol.
I have had 40 unopened gift boxes in the past, just make sure you open the 1st and send thanks so the player that bought it can get their bonus coins

Thanks, Tracy! I have opened all of the “gift” boxes - and sent thanks for all of them. However, the boxes that were included with the “gift” boxes I would like to hang onto. They come in handy on a “rainy day!!”

The gift boxes do not expire and there does not seem to be a limit on how many you can keep either. My husband has hundreds of them (yes plural - not a typo).
