It would be nice but I just skip the tribute till I use free plays then go back n finish that tribute

Yes! Why use free plays when you have lots of coins or when playing a cheaper level? It would be great to save them for when you need them. When you receive boosters, wilds, and volcanos, you don’t have to use them. You can strategically play them. Free plays should function the same way.
