What is up with the non-stop ads? I’ve loved this game for years, never missing a night, couldn’t wait to play. Now, it’s ads after every game?! I can’t stand them and I’m to the point now I no longer want to play this game. Never thought I would hear myself say that. Anyone else had it with the ads?

Yes, super disappointing. I liked that I could choose to watch ads…this totally makes me rethink my level of enjoyment with this game after years of playing.

I’ve never seen an ad except the ones I choose to watch in the “Free Coins” box, “Rewards” tab, or once a day one will pop up for 1000 coins

Yes, I am now getting ads after almost EVERY game, and they are sometimes long ones. Also now have a banner ad across top of game page that blocks out top of quest page to click CONTINUE! This is beyond ridiculous. Ask for support and get told **“ads are a part of the game, we are sorry you don’t like this”*…Blocking needed functions is a problem!!

I complained as well. Yes, they need ads to support their costs, but not when I’m on a gem paid 30 min free play! Then it’s costing me time to force the game closed and go back in.
I will not be forced to watch ads and not get coins for it.

Let me chime in as well. The newest added ads are a pain to have to be subjected to. I would never patronize anyone’s business with an ad in my face as I continue to play the game. I just shut it down. I’m not going to sit for 30 seconds to have some bogus riff on something I would never buy because of
the way they market their products or services.

Yes, and where I live, the reception is so poor that most of the time my phone freezes and the game shuts off after it during each ad. I’ll never catch Poi. I’ve even won the game and had it shut down trying to get to the island, only to get back into the game and have Poi 4 islands away. Enough!

Yes, I was very upset when I started getting ads after every game. And some are long. What a waste of time.

Totally agree! Non stop ad’s and I’m continually getting knocked off, even mid game!! I was always a good contributor to my team, but now it’s all my frustration level can handle to do the tributes and the competition.

In a single day tri-peaks decided to 1) Turn on non-stop ads so they can earn more money by collecting from their advertisers. (Adds which not only pop amidst game play causing complete loss of the hand, but also appear after practically every hand, win or lose. And let’s not overlook that they also eat up earned free play time.) 2) Jacked with the algorithm to make the games unwinnable without multiple additional card draws. 3) Hit an all-time low on the payoffs for personal and team quests. All of this in the same week that they out-lawed helpers by locking them down to one single payout for each team quest while they continue to mandate team quests that require more players than our team has. (To which they claim they can’t do anything to adjust the players required accordingly by team size.)
I personally, as a team leader, spent over 300,000 coins, hundreds of boosters, god knows how many free plays and wasted red star doublers, to eek out a mere 7,000 team points, not for the greedy sob’s at tri-peaks but in support of my struggling team. Perhaps someone in power should take a look at what I have spent over the past 6 months and decide … was this really a good business decision or are you just trying to drive yourself into bankruptcy in less than 7 days ??

Totally agree. It’s just too much. Definitely don’t play as much because of the ads.

I get frustrated with ads. Usually twice as many when I get 30 minutes of free play. Some are so very long. I have also had trouble with them freezing and then I get booted out of the game.

Thanks for replying Anne. Agreed! And it’s not only the ad we are forced to watch that costs sometimes 30 seconds of our 30 minutes of free play but it’s the several seconds before and after with the screen telling us ‘thanks for playing’. Ugh, so frustrating.
